AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia would like to invite you to our annual event Scotiabank AIDS Walk on September 25th 2016, at the Pavilion Site on the Halifax Commons. AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia (ACNS) and members of our community will gather to show their support for those in Nova Scotia living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. This year we are making it a priority to increase the visibility of the support towards ending stigma and discrimination within Nova Scotia by encouraging more members of our communities to come out and participate in this event. By showing up to the event and creating visible support you are able making a positive impact for people living with an affected by HIV/AIDS. Last year, thanks to our committed participants that worked together, over $40,000 were raised to go towards developing and maintaining services for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in Nova Scotia.
Once again the entertaining morning hosts of 101.3 Virgin Radio will host this fun-filled event for all ages. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the afternoon with your friends, family, coworkers, and even your furry four legged friends. Come out and enjoy an afternoon of walking, massages offered by The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy students, face painting and the always popular BBQ.
