JULY 2015 - Today’s (July 22 2015) edition of All NovaScotia shares an article about City Hall moving forward with a multi-million dollar plan to revitalize Spring Garden Road and Argyle Street. A plan proposed by Coun. Waye Mason over a year ago outlined an intergovernmental capital improvement campaign for the urban core. Council approved its share of the funds last year and has the money ready to go but has been waiting on funds from the federal and provincial government. At last night’s Council meeting it was decided that the city would move forward with their portion of the funds for Spring Garden Road and Argyle Street.
