Regional council unanimously approves Argyle, Spring Garden streetscaping plan

APRIL 2016 - Downtown Halifax will be getting some spruced-up streets, regional council has decided.

On Tuesday, council unanimously approved streetscaping costing $6.6-million for Argyle Street that will include the section between Blowers and Prince Street, and Grafton between Prince and Carmichael, and a later but similar project for Spring Garden Road between Queen and South Park streets that will cost $10.1 million.
