Parking Made Safe and Convenient with Spring Garden


Halifax, Nova Scotia – As businesses reopen, shoppers return to stores, and Nova Scotians prepare to support local, the Spring Garden Area Business Association is taking action to help area visitors address one persistent problem: parking. The association has launched a new video series, aptly titled: “Where to Park on Spring Garden.”

The association’s video is a humuorous but informative look at the many parkades and parking lots available around the Spring Garden Road area. The first video of the series, filmed as a movie trailer, offers a glimpse of parking in the area. The association will use their social media channels to release more in-depth videos on each individual parking option in the near future.

“This is very exciting for us as an association to bring attention to our local parkades and parking lots in such a creative eye-catching way.” says Sue Uteck, Executive Director of the Spring Garden Area Business Association. “Our goal is to help visitors enjoy everything this neighbourhood has to offer and support our member businesses as they reopen and evolve to meet the changing circumstances of this unique time.”

“We know parking can present a challenge in downtown Halifax and we want to provide options for visitors while adding some levity to the situation.”

The association Is highlighting parking options at Park Lane Mall, Halifax Central Library, Vertu Suites, Spring Garden Place, Parks Canada | Garrison Grounds, The Paramount, The Doyle and many more.
Spring Garden Area Business Association plans to release the remainder of the video series on their social media channels between now and October.
